24th March

Ok so it wasn't all bad yesterday. Best Trip won as i had predicted. I had this on my pick on the sun monthly game so i was pleased with the selection and the odds were pretty good. Another winner was Maurisca and Glencree managed to get placed. Unfortunatly Thanks for coming was a wasted selection and i wasn't thanking him after the race.

The two high odd risks didn't manage to pull through but it's always a bigger gamble when you start risking money on anything over 14/1.

Another day..Another winner?

Well not overly impressive racing today, well not for the punter anyway.

My EW lucky 15 for the day is going on

Best Trip 19:20 Kempton (Irish improving 4 year old who has won in Kempton early this year and the previous year. Has a good record for coming placed and the ground should suit.)
Maurisca 14:10 Haydock (Hasn't yet had a win at Haydock, managed a win earlier this month and going on last years outings does well at coming placed.)
Thanks For Coming 15:50 Haydock (Has done well with A P McCoy so this will be an interesting one and is a five year old i am keen to watch in the future if he can pull this off today with a different jockey)
Glencree 14:40 Haydock (Not tested at Haydock yet but holds some decent wins. Managed a third at the start of the month and i'm hoping he is ready to win today)

and a small ew double on two high odds horses go to

Katapult @ 40/1 17:00 Haydock (I'm hoping this 8 year old is an improver and will at least get placed but his last win was in 2008 so he has a lot to prove today if i am ever to back him again)

Little Rocker @ 50/1 17:20 Hereford (Irish have done well lately so i'm hopeful for Little Rocker the 10 year old which has won at Hereford in the past. His odds make it unlikely that a win is forthcoming but i'm hoping he can bring out his "09" form and perhaps improve on that.)

Ok well i tried to log in earlier to give an update but the website was having none of it. So i'm having to copy and paste what i put on my sun blog earlier to give you some idea of my thoughts before the days racing went underway.

"Well yesterday was a poor day for me. Out of the three main picks only one raced home for victory. That one being Quotica De Poyans

I did however manage four wins on the sun daily pick but it wasn't enough to get me higher than the 40's on the leaderboard (boo!)

Today i don't really have much confidence, probably due to the fact my over confidence yesterday got knocked by big price winners.

For a lucky 15 (ew to be a bit safer!) i would opt for...

Tuesday 22nd March

After an awful Mondays betting i am hoping that Tuesday shall prove a bit more worthwhile.

I don't pretend to be able to forecast winners every day nor do i think i am a top tipster or a good one for that matter, but i do like horse racing and my grandparents used to always have the newspaper out on the table ready to select their bets for the day and i have had a few nice priced winners over the years. Probably the most memorable winner i have had was one Frankie Dettori rode many years back that came in at 66/1. I won't pretend it was anything other than a fluke. I liked Frankie Dettori and knew he was a decent experienced jockey and it was nothing more than that. I didn't look at form, ground, trainer or weight at that point in time and horse racing was just a hobby that wasn't even mine. Just something friends and family did yet even as a child i used to like selecting the horses and waiting for the results to see if i had been lucky. No money involved..just the fun of finding out if i was right or not...

OK, so I finally got round to sorting out the arcade.

Everything should be working, let me know if there's any problems.

To the Arcade

I've been a blue badge holder for 10 years now and I never realized what a pain it is for disabled people to park.

Since using the blue badge I have seen so many arseholes using disabled spots beacuse they're 10 feet closer to the shop. Ignorant, arrogant, selfish and most likely the same retards that drink and drive and use mobile phones while they drive.

I've taken to photographing them lately with the aim of a name and shame site but for now, I'll just stick them here. There are four pictures attached, 3 idiots and a new parking charge on April fools day from the local council, they have stopped this now, nobody paid the fees anyway. It used to be a free car park.

The bottle bank is so ridiculous it just makes me laugh, it's right outside the doctors, the second image is a delivery lorry blocking three disabled spots, the ocon van is by the schools main door.

Recently we went to see a rebuilt iron fort, lazy bastards were closed so we drove a bit further and came to Shire Farm

Not a bad place, aimed mainly at kids.

The main stallion was out so we went for a look, my wife took these shots but we didn't realize what they were til we got home.

First it tried to eat my camera, this resulted in a severe telling off followed by a cuddle to make up.
